Virtual Tour Sample: Marquette County Courthouse
The present Marquette County Courthouse stands on the site of the County's first courthouse. The earlier building was completed in the summer of 1858 at a cost of approximately $4,300. The present structure was planned and built between 1902 to 1904, and more present renovations done between 1977 and 1982.
One unique piece of history was the filming of "Anatomy of a Murder," directed by Otto Preminger and starring Jimmy Stewart, in 1959.
