Virtual Tour Sample: 40 Mile Point, Rogers City, Michigan
40 Mile Point is a two-story duplex with a tower incorporated into the center of the side-wall facing Lake Huron. The 22 acre site is approximately 40 miles southeast of Old Mackinaw Point and 40 miles northwest of Thunder Bay, and was purchased for $200 in 1894. The lens is historic Fresnel lens manufactured by Henri LePaute in France in 1872.
